Visual contact between Omega and Dunga
PARANÁ SANCTUARY
This week Omega had the opportunity to do a visual contact with other chimpanzees at Paraná Sanctuary, sponsored by Anami Institute and affiliated to GAP Project.
Each chimpanzee lives in a five thousand square meters enclosure, with toys and a large green area. Omega, the smoking chimpanzee from Lebanon, who used to live in a tiny concrete cage, today is in heaven. And to complete his happiness, there is a young partner near him called Dunga, who has also come from a zoo.
Near them there is also a group of chimpanzees called “Paulistas”, the majority from former Garcia Circus. They also greeted the neighbors with the singular sound “OUH, OUH” of chimpanzees.
